A traditional window form brought right up to date, the Urbane Flush Casement is perfect for those seeking a fresh, modern timber window free of period chintz. As with traditional British Flush Casements, the Urbane Flush Casement features openers that close into the frame and finish flush with the face of the window. However there the link to tradition ends. Mouldings and sections have been adapted throughout to provide clean, understated lines synonymous with a modern look and crisp modern architectural ironmongery finishes the piece. Thermal performance is thoroughly modern too - the Urbane Flush casement is one of the few timber windows in the UK to have achieved an 'A' energy rating. Meanwhile multi-point locking mechanisms and anti-jemmy devices provide up to the minute standards of security.

A full range of colour choices are available as well as 'Urbane Grey', a stylish new colour launched specifically to compliment the Urbane range.

As with all our products multi-layered, engineered timber is used throughout to resist against warping and twisting and high performance paint finishes ensure a long life of low maintenance.

The Urbane Flush Casement has been architect designed in the UK and is manufactured in Cornwall.

1. multi-layer timber sections with opposing grains, balances warping and combats twisting

The use of multi-layer timber is long established in Britain for long span timber structures in demanding environments such as swimming pools and bridges. In common use on the continent, but very rare in Britain, is the use for window and door sections. This multi-layer structure is particularly effective in resisting warping and twisting as the opposing grains even out natural moisture movement. And It is the twisting of timber during wet weather, more than the swelling itself, which causes windows and doors to stick. Multi-layer timber sections are used as standard throughout our range.
